Rietveld Schröderhuis

Gerrit Rietveld（1888－1964)，荷蘭家具設計師及建築師，是荷蘭風格派運動中最有名的設計師之一。他所設計的紅藍椅（Red & Blue Chair）已成為荷蘭設計界的象徵。

Rietveld Schröderhuis，建於1924年，又稱為施洛德住宅Schröder House，是Gerrit Rietveld為特盧斯·施洛德-施雷德夫人(Mrs.Truus Schröder-Schräder) 及其三個孩子所設計建成的住宅建築， 座落於荷蘭中部 Utrecht市中，是Gerrit Rietveld第一間完整設計的新房子。

這棟住宅在視覺及外觀設計上非常出色，舉凡傢俱設計、傢俱擺設、內部空間切割等，佈局非常靈活，完全結合使用者的習慣和對各種空間的要求，是一棟極簡卻又符合使用者所有需求的機能住宅。

簡潔的設計概念，重視實用性、經濟性並廣泛採用現代建材，整體上稱得上是1920年間"荷蘭風格派運動"(De Stijl)建築的理想典範。世界遺產委員會於2000年12月2日將本建築列入UNESCO的世界遺產名錄，對該住宅作了如下敘述:

The Rietveld Schröderhuis in Utrecht is an icon of the Modern Movement in architecture and an outstanding expression of human creative genius in its purity of ideas and concepts as developed by the De Stijl movement. (...) With its radical approach to design and the use of space, the Rietveld Schröderhuis occupies a seminal position in the development of architecture in the modern age.
