I love fall in Kyoto. The wind brings the earthy smell of leaves in the air. The forest of green bursts into gold, red and orange and yellow. Most of all, I love the small delicate leaves of the Japanese Maple the showers down upon me. Even in death, the red leaves reminds me the life spring will bring.
