How I spend my jet lagged mornings...
After 17 hours on the plane and riding public transportation, it is just after sunrise and I’m in search of comfort food.
Through the morning chill, I could smell the earthy leaves collecting on the floor. But then I smelled something.
I followed it through the park. The unmistakeable smell of pine tree. Pine tree = Christmas
Lo and behold workers were preparing a tree at the Pioneer Courthouse Square. But more importantly, I smelled something else.
Could it be? Yes it could!
Something’s coming!
Something good!
Many thanks to Joseph at Olympia Provisions for making me bratwurst sandwich with quince, full grain mustard, and sauerkraut! You can find the MELTY & MEATY FOOD TRUCK at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Go eat!
