Since many of our followers are chefs or cooking enthusiasts, if you are in Paris you will want to visit Les Halles, the area next to Vendome. It is also not cheap, so brace yourself!

For the budding pastry chef, there is G. Detou, the shop to go to when you are making pastries. Not only are there a wide range of baking chocolates, gelling agents, emulsifiers and paste for macaroons, but there is also a wide range of savory: mustards, pates, pickled produce. If you want confectionary fruit for decoration, they have it too!

Mora

If you can’t find it at G. Detou, go to Mora. If you are into sugarcraft, decoration for parties, this place is the right place to go. Just make sure you have enough room in your luggage to bring it home!
